Terms & Conditions Summary

Services & Scheduling

• Appointments available weekday evenings and weekends.
• 3+ days’ notice required to schedule. 24 hours to cancel.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees.
• Emergency or after-hours services may cost double.

Payment Terms

• Invoices due within 15 days.
• 1% late fee per month on overdue balances.
• Accepted: cash, check, card, electronic transfer.
• Cancellation fee: $50 or 50% of service fee [if cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled service] (whichever is greater).
• Refunds handled case-by-case at CtrlHome's discretion.

Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate info, safe access, and working power/internet.
• Prepare the site and secure necessary permissions (HOA, city, etc.).
• Use installed systems properly; notify CtrlHome of any issues.

Warranty

• 60-day workmanship warranty for installation issues.
• 14-day service call warranty for follow-up support.
• No warranty for third-party device failures or user errors.

Limitations of Liability

• Services are provided “as is” with no guarantees.
• CtrlHome is not liable for data loss, device failures, or third-party issues.
• Client agrees to indemnify CtrlHome for damages from misuse or negligence.

Dispute Resolution

• Disputes go through negotiation → mediation → arbitration (Weld County, CO).
• Claims must be brought within 1 year of service.

Privacy & Data

• Client information is used only for service and billing.
• No info is sold or shared without consent.
• Reasonable protections are in place, but data risks are acknowledged.

Referral Program Terms & Conditions

• The referral program is open to all existing CtrlHome customers (“Referrers”) who refer new customers (“Referees”) to CtrlHome.
• Referrers will receive a $30 credit for each Referee who books and completes a paid CtrlHome service. Credits can be applied towards future services and are non-transferable.
• Referees will receive a $20 discount on their first booked and completed CtrlHome service by using the Referrer’s unique referral code.
• Referral credits and discounts apply only to the first 10 referrals per Referrer.
• After three successful referrals, Referrers earn a free service add-on of their choice (e.g., smart device setup, network check, or consultation).
• Referral credits and discounts expire 12 months after issuance.
• Referral credits may be revoked if the Referee cancels or does not complete the booked service.
• CtrlHome reserves the right to deny credits for fraudulent or abusive referrals.
• CtrlHome may modify or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice; credits earned before termination remain valid until expiration.
